I’ll admit it, I have a many preconceived notions about various clothing stores and for that fact I never walk in. A few weeks ago Ryan and I traveled to Iowa to go dress shopping with Ryan’s mother for the wedding. As you can guess, Iowa does not have many choices when it comes to cocktail dresses. We made a few different stops with no luck. Our last stop was Dress Barn. Alright, I know what you are thinking! Dress Barn, really? Isn’t that place full of two-piece dresses that mom’s wear to Easter Sunday? Um nope! Super adorable dress, jewelry, and shoes. Plus with a variety of sizes and styles, this place is a no brainer in my book. My future mother-in-law found a cute little lace number, while I picked up this polka-dot fit-n-flare dress.
