As we head to the middle of August and before we know it Fall, I have been thinking a lot about transition. Two years ago, I was working on the retail sales floor, living in my own apartment, and newly dating Ryan. I was desperate to get out of the retail hours. I started applying for every fashion job I knew I would be perfect at, but completely unqualified for. Begrudgingly, I took a job, that I knew would not be the perfect fit, but I knew in the end it would give me amazing experience and be a stepping stone. Now, two years later, I landed the biggy, my crème de la crème of career paths. I am officially back to my roots of fashion and I truly could not be more excited for the new opportunity.
