It has been a very busy couple of weeks around this household. Not only was work keeping me busy, but house projects have been keeping both Ryan and I very busy. If you follow me on Instagram, you can see our latest project is an IKEA coffee table hack. So far, it is going well and we were on track to finish it this weekend until I realized how difficult it was to whitewash wood. I just cannot decide on the right water to paint ratio. Hopefully, we will get it all done by this coming weekend! I cannot wait to share what it looks like.
Other than the coffee table, we are also finishing up the bookshelf Ryan made late last fall. We still need to stain and whitewash that, but I am running into the same problem as the coffee table.
Tuesday of last week, I attended The Business of Beauty, Unveiled event hosted by the Fashion Group International. The event was great and got to hear great business advice from amazing speakers like Jon Charles and Elizabeth Dehn. Plus, I was sent home with not one, but two SWAG bags!
