This week we all said goodbye to summer and somehow, fall knew exactly how to blow right in. Luckily, last weekend I had my last opportunity to wear white denim before the temperatures took a downturn and heads start turning with “is she wearing those after Labor Day”.
I also was excited to wear this straw cloche hat. I purchased it back in July, with full intention to wear it when the sun was still shining and temperatures were in the high 80’s. This cloche is perfect middle ground for those who want to branch out from the classic straw fedora, but don’t have the guts for a wide floppy brim number. I found this one at Forever 21 and it is still available. The straw color is a light neutral and the band is a nice grosgrain ribbon. With my hat obessison growing stronger (i.e. this felt number) I am finding that storage is becoming an issue. Ryan’s sliver of the closet may be getting smaller.
