When we first moved into the house, both Ryan and I figured the breezeway would be the last room we tackled. Not because of cost, but mostly, because we didn’t know how to tackle it. I wanted to take down the horrible wood panels and replace it will good ole’ drywall. Unfortunately, that was going to be more work than we wanted to take on and a bit more money than we wanted to spend on a breezeway. Lucky for me, about 2 years ago is when Joanna Gaines and that wonderful ship-lap exploded on home decor scene.
Check out all of the original walk through of the house here.
The room is covered with blonde wood panels, dirty grey carpet squares and doors and window galore. Three doors and three window to be exact. I wanted the room to be bright, clean and welcoming. After all this is the first room you enter from the garage.

As always, I had a million different decor ideas bouncing around in my head. I knew I wanted to bring chrome into the room along with a fabulous Chinoiserie inspired wallpaper.
