Life: Goodbye 2017

Another year has come and gone and more things were checked off the list in every part of my life. Just like in years past, I want to thank everyone for all the support in the blogging world and in my day to day life. Looking back at 2017, I see a lot of things I would obviously change about it. There was a lot of eating out, maybe one too many cocktails and I became very complacent with my style. I know getting healthy is on a lot of people’s to do list when it comes to New Year’s resolutions but Ryan and I continue to push ourselves to make better eating habits, drinking habits and exercising more.

With that said, I wanted my resolutions to be things I would want to work towards and actually be achievable, because lets be honest, eating healthy is way hard and takes way too much prep. When thinking about going into 2018, I am focused on 2 main goals or resolutions for the new year; more water and less denim.

Gallon of Water a Day – This was on my resolution list for 2017 and to be honest, I did fairly well with it. The hardest part was keeping track of how much I drank throughout the day. This year, I purchased these two 2.2 liter water bottles. The plan is to keep one at work and one at home, so I’m not toting around a giant water bottle. As long as I can drink 2.2 liters at work, I will be golden for hitting the gallon mark by the end of the day.

Wear Less Denim – I have been guilty of defaulting to denim whenever I don’t know what to wear, which is all too often. I also work in an extremely casual office, so finding the motivation to put effort into my outfit is sometimes, OK, always a struggle. My hope is throwing this silly resolution into the mix puts fashion back in the forefront of my mind.

There it is, my super silly, but important to me 2018 resolutions.  Looking forward to 2018 and everything it has to bring!
