Life: Goodbye 2016 - Saint James & Co.

Happy 2017 everyone! I hope you all had a safe and warm holiday.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me this last year. Both in the blogging world and out. 2016 really tested me as a person (read about that here). I made major life decisions, celebrated two years of homeownership and one year of marriage. Last year was by far the best and worst I have ever experience.

I have bounced the idea of a resolution back and forth. I hate the idea of saying I am going to eat better, go to the gym, drink more water, but to be honest, these are all totally applicable to my life. I do need to eat better. I do need to go to the gym and I do need to drink more water. So, you ask what I am doing about it? For one, I cannot make any promises on the gym thing. However, after “researching” healthy recipes, I came across BuzzFeed Food’s Clean Eating Challenge. Ryan and I won’t be following it exactly as it says (no coffee or alcohol, PLEASE).

Below I highlighted some of my favorite looks and pieces from 2016.

Look 1: Original Post. I absolutely love this Charlotte Russe scuba skirt. It was by chance I purchased it and I am completely happy with it.
Look 2: Original Post. Oh the graphic tee. How I love and hate you at the same time.

Look 1: Original Post. I don’t think I need to confess my love of dress anymore, just go read my endless posts about it.
Look 2: Original Post. Everyone needs a pair a pattern pants in their wardrobe and these J.Crew ones will do just the trick.

Look 1: Original Post. These Ann Taylor boots made numerous appearances in 2016 and they continue to in 2017. Ann Taylor has more great leather boots that are now on SALE!
Look 2: Original Post. This day was so special to me. Ryan and I celebrated our one year anniversary right where we said our I do’s.
